So, I may have exaggerated in my previous post. While the snow storm was annoying and out of place, it was not actually a blizzard. However, we had a blizzard yesterday, for real this time! Josh got a snow day, as the whole base was shut down... along with the rest of Rapid City. It was nice to have a free day to sit in the house and be together, but come on. It's May!!!

talk about SD weather - maia was running around outside all weekend in shorts and a tank top on with winter boots and slathered in sunblock - my backyard is either inches of packed snow or green, green grass! she wasnt sure what to make of it.
