Spring Has Sprung...maybe...

The past weeks have been nothing short of winter. Numbingly cold with icy winds that can blow your front door right open. Yes, I am not the only one to report this. Even with the big garage door shut, the little garage door into the house will still blow open if it's not locked. We have been a bit like hermit crabs lately due to the cold and snow. So, you can imagine my delight this morning when I awoke to a smoldering house. I ran to check the thermostat (which was reading 85 degrees) then proceeded to open all the doors and windows and indulge in a little fresh air. You know, the kind that doesn't hurt or freeze your nose when you inhale. The high today was 55 and while that may not seem warm to you, it's plenty warm to us. We took full advantage of the spring weather, not knowing how long it would last, and enjoyed some play time at the park behind our house. Mason liked sliding down the slide and toddling through the grass with the cool, crisp air on his sweet, little face. He had a great afternoon, followed by a great evening spent playing in the church nursery with his sweet Georgia peach.
